Nice article. I found this when Medium suggested it as a follow-up to what I wrote today at https://medium.com/@cdsmithus/your-students-could-have-invented-the-pythagorean-theorem-438db433aec5. I’ve had success using this proof as a plausible path for guided discovery, rather than just a proof after stating the theorem.
